About
Rooted in Joy
After a busy day, you step into your kitchen and see a gorgeous bouquet in your favorite vase on the table.
Time slows down, and the to-do list fades. There’s a peaceful lift in your heart as you take a deep breath and smile.
Aren’t flowers magical?
Yeah, I think so too.
I fell in love with flowers because they slow me down in the middle of all the busyness. They’ve taught me that joy isn’t only in the big milestones — it’s found in the small, everyday moments. Like when I pause to admire a bouquet and my heart lights up.
Life just feels better with flowers around. Don’t you agree?

Brooke
I grew up between Seneca and Cayuga lakes, spending my childhood playing by the lilacs and admiring my neighbor's flower-filled yard. I discovered my love for growing flowers while working at a plant nursery in Mecklenburg during college breaks.
While living in Portland, Oregon (the "City of Roses"), I learned how to grow a three-season garden and fell in love with growing roses - my gateway flower. In my early 40s, I developed a chronic vestibular (balance) disorder, which really showed me the healing power of flowers and helped me find more joy in them.
When the pandemic brought me back home to the Finger Lakes, I started my flower farm. For over 20 years, I taught English, including at Trumansburg middle and high schools, while honing my flower-growing skills during summer breaks.
Now, I'm grateful to be growing flowers nearly year-round and sharing all this beauty and joy with my Finger Lakes community. I know what it's like to feel the pull toward wanting more flowers and joy in your life. I'd love to help you get there.

Danny
Danny grew up in the Hudson Valley with a deep love for wild places and natural beauty. His background in wilderness studies shapes his commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainability - values that run through everything we do at the farm.
As a skilled woodworker and carpenter, Danny builds much of the infrastructure that keeps Jenny Creek Flowers running smoothly. When he's not here, you'll find him crafting custom pieces through his business, Palmer Woodcraft.

We're a family flower farm.
We're a family flower farm, and we couldn't grow beautiful flowers without the hands-on support of our family - including Brooke's mom, aunt, and our teenage son.

Sustainably-Grown
You can feel good about the flowers you bring home because we're NYS Grown & Certified. We proudly align our stewardship values with lake-friendly organic growing practices.
